8 Day Tantra Retreat, South Africa, Cape Town

Why a One-on-One Immersion?

The work calls for depth, honesty and sustained attention. Doing the work in private means the process can unfold according to your body, your history, your pace and what is unfolding in real time.

Most retreats are built around a group dynamic, but this retreat is built around you. This opens the door to deeper exploration, directed guidance, and a presence that can be hard to find in the midst of daily life.

What to Expect

This is private one-on-one immersion for eight days in Cape Town. Between sessions you will be staying in your own private mountain cottage, a place to rest, reflect and integrate.

The retreat consists of five sessions of approximately three hours each. This work is informed by traditional Tantra, somatic inquiry, energy healing, breath work, tantric body work, shadow work, and guided internal reflection.

Each day has a leisurely pace. The morning starts with sadhana – yoga, pranayama, meditation and chanting. Sessions are at midday. Afternoons are yours to journal, commune with nature, walk the beach or just rest.

There’s no structure, no defined outcomes to a program. The process is structured around you, your body, your history, your intention. What transpires in each session determines what happens next.

You get a blend of tenderness and bluntness. The work is at your pace, but it does not shy away from what needs to be felt.

Why this retreat?

Because something inside you is ready.

Maybe you’ve been in therapy or personal development for years but still something feels just out of reach. Maybe you have shame, fear or numbness that no talking has moved. Perhaps you’re feeling disengaged, guarded or unsure about your relationship to your body, your sexuality or your capacity for intimacy.

This retreat is for people who feel like there is something more. More aliveness, more presence, more depth but it takes a focused container and skilled guidance to access it.

The body keeps what the mind cannot say. Conditioning, trauma, protection of emotion, repressed desire, inherited shame.

These do not dwell in your mind. They are in your tissues, in your breath, in your nervous system.

It takes a different kind of work to meet them.

This retreat provides that. A place to slow down. Turn inward. Meet yourself more honestly than daily life allows.

Who This Retreat Is For

This retreat is for those who are ready to go deeper than just surface level healing.

Perhaps you have done some personal work before, but feel like there is something deeper yet to be met. You could feel disconnected from your body, have shame that’s gone unaddressed, have repeating patterns in your intimacy, or want more aliveness that you just can’t seem to get to on your own.

This book is for those who are willing to meet with honesty and directness. Who are willing to go through what has been avoided. Who knows transformation asks something of them.

This is not a Tantra introduction or a wellness retreat. This is a deep and focused process of initiation.

If you are looking for relaxation, spiritual entertainment or a gentle retreat experience this is not the right fit.

If there is something in you that knows you are ready this container is for you.

Your Journey

The five sessions follow a natural arc, from understanding to release to integration .

Sessions 1 & 2: Meeting What Is Held

We start by looking at your biographical story, your intention and what might be blocked, frozen or unresolved in your body. It's survival patterns, shame, fear, emotional protection, how you've learned to contract or disconnect.

We begin to map the terrain through conversation, breath, energy healing and body awareness.
Where do you hold yours? Where do you keep watch? Where have you ceased to feel?

The aim is to re-establish your relationship with your body. To be present and aware, and to be able to be with whatever comes up without leaving.

Sessions 3 & 4: Building up and Letting go

The foundation of presence has been set, and the work goes to deeper levels. Through tantric touch bodywork, somatic practices and healing touch you are invited to meet your own vulnerability, sensuality and life force more directly.

This is where resistance often manifests. The places you withdraw from, shield, numb, or have trouble receiving. We do not skip these edges, we greet them. The body is given space to let go of what it’s been holding on to. Energy that was stagnant starts to move.

Session 5: Inclusion and growth

By the time of the last session the body is usually more open, more room for life force and sensation to flow. Focus shifts to expansion.

How much do you allow? How much can you receive?

We use the subtle energy body, breath and awareness to help integration. The intention is not to create a peak experience but to establish a new baseline. A more embodied, present, and alive way of being that goes beyond the retreat.

Real intimacy begins the moment you stop leaving yourself.
